PRO Rumors has released version 4.01 of their FULL iPhone app and version 4.00 of their FREE iPhone app. Here's a quick highlight of the app:

Where do I get the app?
The PRO Rumors app is located on the App Store on iTunes. You can download the app by clicking on http://www.itunes.com/apps/prorumors. You can access the App Store directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch and touching the App Store icon. Then do a search for "PRO Rumors".
What hardware do I need to use the PRO Rumors app?
The app requires an iPhone or an iPod Touch OS 3.0 or later. You probably have this already assuming you own an iPhone or iPod Touch. If not, then I would take a look at this article to get the latest software update. Click here.
I am not receiving push notifications.
It's possible that you are not receive push notifications because there are no alerts. We suggest that you turn all the teams "ON" by going to More - Push notifications then select "ON" for each team. Observe this for a day in a well covered area (this means you have an Internet connection). You should receive at least one notification. If that does not work, then delete the app from you iPhone or iPod Touch and re-download the app. Once you have successfully download the app then reset your push notifications. Make sure you are in a well covered area so that we receive which teams you want to be notified.
I am experiencing crashing of the app or the app is not loading. What should I do?
PRO Rumors recommends that you reboot your iPhone or iPod Touch after your download or upgrade your app. You should also reboot your iPhone in the event that you experience any crashing of the application (although we have not experienced any crashing nor have we received any reports of crashing). You can do it by holding down the home button (big button on the bottom of your device) and the sleep/wake button (top button) simultaneously for about 5 seconds. When the "slide power off" comes on, ignore it and continue holding the buttons. The phone will turn off. Touch the sleep/wake button (top button) and it will turn the phone back on. You'll know that it is back on when you see the Apple logo appear. You can see this YouTube video for a detailed step-by-step:
I thought you were called MLB Secrets?
You are absolutely correct! We had to make a name change because the big business lawyers did not want us infringing on a certain trademark. We complied immediately and so we're rebranding. We are the same great group of people making an already great product even better.
Do you have an app for Android, Palm, Blackberry, etc.?
We only have an iPhone app available today. We are looking into creating an app for other platforms so stay tuned.

Speaking about push notifications, what is it and how do I use it?
Push notification is a feature that is apart of your iPhone or iPod Touch. Based on your preferences, we will send a notification to your device at no additional cost with a short message indicating that there is news regarding your team. By default, you will receive no push notifications. You will need to do the following to setup your push notifications
More tab -- Push notifications -- select on/off for your team(s) - Update
The next time an alert for your favorite team comes out, you'll be notified to check the app for the complete story.
I'm getting alerts for teams that I do not want to receive. I check the Push Settings and it's correct. What's going on?
We do not want to send push notifications that you do not want to receive. The way that our articles are tagged is based on what teams are mentioned in them. For example, you may have received an alert indicating that Johnny Damon is negotiating with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox. However, your push preferences are set to receive only New York Yankees alerts. Because we mentioned New York Yankees in the article (he did play there for four years) our software is set to send an alert.
What other feature are coming out?
We had a lot of feedback from our first two versions of the PRO Rumors iPhone app. You wanted push notification, search by team, sort by favorite team, real-time scores and stats, and we made it happen. If you have a great idea, please send an email with feature requests to support@prorumors.com
I have a gift certificate or promo code and I want to redeem it to download the PRO Rumors app, how do I do it?
You will have to open up your iTunes application on your PC or MAC. Go to the iTunes Store. Login with your iTunes account. In the upper-right hand corner, you'll see "Redeem", click on it.
You will then be asked to input the code. Click "Redeem" to confirm then do a search for "PRO Rumors".
