    According to Tom Haudricourt of the Journal-Sentinel, the Milwaukee Brewers have designated for assignment right handed pitcher Sean Green. Rivera, 33, was signed by the Florida Marlins in September and assigned to their Triple-A affiliate in New Orleans.
