    Last week the Detroit Tigers designated Adam Everett for assignment. According to John Lowe of the Free Press, the Tigers officially released the shortstop today and thus making him a free agent. Everett, 33, was hitting .185/.221/.247 in 31 games for the Tigers in 2010.
